The physicians and staff of Bloomington Pediatrics and Allergy warmly welcome Dr. Kimberly Marshall as our newest pediatrician! Many of you may know of her most recently from her employment with Sugar Creek Medical in Normal, Illinois. Since her arrival in 1995 she has cared for many young patients through her office there. Three months after starting her practice her true pediatric training began with the birth of her first child. Since then her practice has grown as her family has grown.

Granted the privilege to witness the birth and growth of so many young persons, Dr. Marshall says, “I have developed a very humble and practical knowledge of the vast field of general pediatrics. Much of that knowledge has been gained with the help of my patients, peers and family. For that I am thankful.”

She is excited to experience what is to come as she enters the next phase of her practice and life. With the entry of Advocate Healthcare into the Bloomington area she has been granted an opportunity to explore private practice while maintaining her personal relationships with her hospital-based colleagues. Adds Dr. Marshall, “I am delighted to join forces with the familiar and trusted physicians at Bloomington Pediatrics and Allergy.”

Dr. Marshall is a graduate of Missouri State University, BS 1987, and Washington University Medical School, MD 1991. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at Indiana University in 1994 and was honored to serve as Chief Resident there in 1994-95.

Her three sons are students at Epiphany Grade School. She is a den leader for Pack 25 and a room parent. She now considers Bloomington-Normal her home.
