Mark S. Ulbrich, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.C.A.A.I.
Dr. Ulbrich’s hometown is Bloomington , Illinois . He graduated from University High School in 1973. He is married and has four children.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in 1977 and a Medical Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College Of Medicine in 1982.
Dr. Ulbrich served as a resident in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Ohio from 1982-1984 and as Chief Resident there in 1985. He then completed a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Cleveland Clinic in 1987.
Dr. Ulbrich joined Bloomington Pediatrics and Allergy in 1990.
Dr. Ulbrich is board-certified in both Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology and he is board-certified in General Pediatrics as well. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Allergy and Immunology. He is participating in ongoing Maintenance of Certification in immunology and allergy.
Dr. Ulbrich is also a member of the American Medical Society, the Illinois State Medical Society, and the Mclean County Medical Society. He has served as an Illinois State Medical Society Delegate and has advocated for legislative reform of Illinois ’ medical laws. He is also a past President of the McLean County Medical Society.
His professional interests include the study of asthma, allergic rhinitis, stinging insect sensitivity, and food allergies. He is an avid reader and photographer. He also enjoys golfing and hiking with his family.
