Influenza continues to be prevalent in our community. We recommend that you contact us within 24-48 hours if your child rapidly develops high fever, severe cough, runny nose, muscle aches and marked fatigue--the symptoms of influenza. We will likely want to see him or her in the office to arrive at a diagnosis and determine the best treatment.

We continue to encourage everyone who is at least 6 months of age to get an influenza vaccine, even though the "flu season" is well underway.  Unfortunately, we have exhausted our supply of vaccine and we will not be able to obtain more.

We will let you know on this site when the 2013-2014 influenza vaccine becomes available, usually in late August.
